The Trespassers formed in 2019, built around the core of Adam Holley and Lynn Hayes. The early lineup spent its first years cutting its teeth across Texas, playing every room that would have them and recording the band’s first two EPs, released in 2021 and 2022. Those records carried them through a run of regional shows before the band stepped back for a brief hiatus.

By 2025, The Trespassers came roaring back. The return brought a new spark with the addition of bassist Kurt Joye, kicking off a fresh chapter for the band. The re‑formed trio headed into Blackout TX, Kurt’s home studio, and tracked four new songs — Hot Rod God, Eggshells, Boltneck, and Torn In Two — a set that leans into the band’s gritty, blues‑bitten, Texas‑rock DNA. They followed the recordings with a string of shows across North Texas, reintroducing themselves with a heavier, tighter, road‑ready sound.

Right now, The Trespassers are deep into expanding their catalog — re‑recording all ten tracks from the original EPs and building out a full LP’s worth of new material slated for 2026.

(One of The Hub’s Fav’s)

It’s a band reclaiming its identity, sharpening its edges, and doubling down on the raw, unpolished spirit that’s been there since day one.

Current lineup:
Adam Holley – vocals/guitar
Lynn Hayes – drums
Kurt Joye – bass

There’s a real Texas backbone to The Trespassers — that ZZ Top grit, that bar‑room swagger. These new tracks feel like a band that knows exactly who they are and isn’t afraid of it. If you like your rock loud, lived‑in, and unapologetically Texas, The Trespassers are already speaking your language.
