Bob Houghton is a self-taught songwriter, bassist, and recording artist whose journey began in his early 20s playing in cover and original bands. Inspired by the raw energy of hard rock concerts, he picked up a guitar, built a home studio, and started writing songs — launching a creative path that's now spanned over three decades.
His music blends psychedelic rock, classic rock, and a lived-in, traveled-road vibe that reflects years of jamming, refining, and recording. Bob's songwriting process has evolved through collaboration with talented musicians and formal training, including completion of The Recording Connection Bachelors Program in audio recording.
Now retired from a long career managing auto repair shops, Bob has turned full focus to his passion: writing and recording original music and creating videos to bring those songs to life — each track a reflection of the road he's traveled and the stories he's ready to tell.
