Peter Lancellotti is a musician, author, and podcast host whose work threads together storytelling, music, and the weight of real experience. He’s the creator of Indie Tea: Demos to Discovery and the author of Alive After Dying and the Her Immortal Menagerie series. Today, he’s back in the world as a published musician, actively recording and performing as a studio artist, exploring themes of grief, identity, spirituality, and transformation across every medium he touches.
Raised in New England, Lancellotti began his studies at the Community College of Rhode Island before earning a bachelor’s degree in communication with a philosophy minor from Rhode Island College. Early in his journey, he worked as a Recreational Director at a mental health facility, leading sing‑alongs on piano and guitar — a natural extension of being a classically trained guitarist since age eight. Alongside his writing, he continues to record and perform new work as a studio musician.
After years in sales, marketing, and telecom, he shifted direction in 2008, studying gerontology at USC and moving into telehealth. Rather than pursuing a Ph.D., he founded a homecare agency in Los Angeles focused on LGBTQ older adults. Now, he continues to write, record, and follow the next evolution of his creative path.
