
Sherise Dsouza is an award‑winning vocalist and songwriter from India, known for her powerhouse voice, genre‑blending style, and dynamic global performances. A Recording Academy Voting Member and CMA Member, she has earned international recognition across Pop, Funk, Country, Rock, and Jazz.
Her accolades include Best Pop Artist (Radio Music Awards 2026), Silver Medal – Best Pop/Funk Vocalist (European International Music Awards) for Funk Train, Emerging Female Pop Artist (Open Mic Awards USA), International Female Songwriter of the Year, and multiple Clouzine Pop Song of the Year wins for Baby Girl and You Get Me. She has also been honored by Hard Rock Cafe India as part of the Women Who Rock movement.
Sherise has performed across the USA, Norway, Germany, France, Ireland, London, and Dubai, sharing stages with artists such as Karl Jenkins, David Bray, Patricia Rosario, Hema Sardesai, Shaun LaBelle, and Norway’s Viking Queen at Oppdal Rock Fest.
Her band, The Sherise Dsouza Collective, is known for high‑energy sets rooted in Funk, R&B, Country, Pop, Soul, Jazz, and Classic Rock. She also performs solo and duo shows, including a recent 2026 Los Angeles showcase supporting wildfire relief.
A seasoned vocal coach with over a decade of experience, Sherise teaches with a holistic approach and serves as a GRAMMY U Mentor. She is part of the core team at Lazie Indie Magazine and helps organize the International Independent Music Festival in India.
Beyond music, she is a songwriter, columnist, instructional designer, and author of the poetry book Directions, Dimensions, Dexterity.
