Kauz of Affliction is a punk rock force born on the Big Island of Hawaii, formed in 2015 and driven by the raw chemistry of Erik (vocals/guitar), Justine (vocals/bass), and Wes (drums). Over the past decade, they've carved out their own lane with six full‑length albums, including their latest release, “Life Tips on Dumpster Diving” (March 7, 2025).
With 3 million+ Spotify streams and over 5 million across all platforms, Kauz of Affliction has built a global following the old‑school way — relentless output, zero shortcuts, and songs that hit with humor, honesty, and heart. Their breakout single “Gas Station Burrito” landed on several of Spotify's top punk playlists, while “Rat Problem” opened Dammit Records' Dam‑Nations Compilation (February 2025).

Onstage, they've stood shoulder‑to‑shoulder with legends and cult favorites alike — T.S.O.L., Cherry Poppin' Daddies, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Screeching Weasel, The Courettes, D.I., Enuff Z'Nuff, Pretty Boy Floyd, The Queers, The Venomous Pinks, The Darts, Adolescents, Bad Cop Bad Cop, Stalag 13, Urethane, and more. From Hawaii to the mainland U.S., their live shows hit with the same chaotic joy and sharp‑edged storytelling that define their records.

In October 2025, Kauz of Affliction signed with Too Loud Records. Their upcoming album — produced, mixed, and mastered by Riccardo Daga at Titans Lab Recording Studio in Ferrara, Italy — is set for a Summer 2026 release, with new singles dropping along the way. They'll join Dead Pollys for a European tour in Spring 2026, bringing Hawaiian punk energy to stages across the continent.

Kauz of Affliction
From the Big Island, they are everything I love about real punk — loud, honest, unpolished in all the right ways, and built on pure heart. No shortcuts, no gimmicks, just a band with a story to tell and the guts to tell it loud.
