The Major Resolve comes out of Vine Grove, Kentucky with a sound that leans heavy, honest, and built from real life.

They mix alternative rock, hard rock, and metal without trying to fit into any box. It's groove‑driven, loud when it needs to be, and grounded in the kind of writing that actually says something.

The band is a tight trio. Dustin Ray handles the vocals and the writing, pulling straight from personal experience instead of trying to dress anything up.

Tater Johnson drives the instrumentals and production through Tatervision Records, keeping everything sharp and real. Lydia Barbour brings the piano work that rounds out their sound without softening it.

They've built momentum the hard way — song by song, show by show.

Their track “Wolves” took home Band Single of the Year at the ISSA Awards, and they've got cuts like “On My Way,” “Hand Out,” “Wherever You Are,” “Invasion,” and “Memories” pulling steady listeners across platforms. Nothing inflated, nothing overhyped. Just solid work that connects.

The Major Resolve is a straight Kentucky rock band with real backbone. Heavy, honest, and built by people who actually care about the craft. No fluff, no gimmicks — just a band doing the work and doing it right.
